General Rules

  • Every Student should bring his/her school bag according to the timetable and Almanac to school each day.
  • Strict regularity, implicit obedience, courtesy in speech and conduct, cleanliness of dress and person are expected from every student.
  • Non-Sikh boys should get their hair trimmed at regular intervals.
  • Students are not allowed to bring valuable articles (like expensive watches, call phones or fountain pens) to school.
  • Students are not allowed to wear jewelry. Girls may wear one pair of studs.
  • The name, calls and section of the pupil should be clearly marked on all belongings of the student.
  • Student who uses unfair means during test or examination will not be permitted to continue his/her studies in the school.
  • Student who comes to the school by private transport should arrive at school five minutes before the Home Room period.
  • No child may be taken home during school hours unless there is an emergency. In that case, the principal may be contacted and permission and gate pass should be obtained.
  • All the students and their parents and authorized guardians must possess identity cards issues by the school.
  • Leave of the half day should be avoided for security reasons.
  • The wearing of the school uniform is obligatory. Violation of this rule is sufficient reason for the expulsion of a student from the school. No student will be allowed in the school premises without prescribed uniform.
  • No collection of money/gifts for any purpose, whatsoever, is to be made without the prior permission of the Principal.
  • Children must speak in English in the School Campus.
  • Changing of classrooms between periods should be done in silence and in an orderly manner.
  • No shouting or whistling is allowed in or around the school building. Running in corridors is strictly prohibited.
  • Students are not allowed to bring any sharp instrument t like knives, bladed, nail cutter etc, to the school.
  • Exploding crackers or splashing colors during Diwali/Holi or another occasion in the school premises or school buses is strictly prohibited. Non-compliance of these instructions can result in expulsion from the school.
  • Care must be taken of all school property and no student should scratch or spoil the desks, chairs, damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on the walls or in any other way damage the things belonging to others. Any reported damage will lead to strict action.
  • Students must not enter the staff rooms or examination room unless sent for an express purpose.
